GemStück's first Showcase
As some of you might already know, I had the privilege of presenting my work to an audience last weekend. I am really grateful for this experience, because it took me out of one comfort zone right into another - I enjoyed talking jewellery! A Big Thank You to all my friends who come out of their way and supported me on the day - you are the best xx

Simplistic Time Classics
The first thing we learn in school after the alphabeth and some basic maths is to read time. Knowing what-O'clock it is at any given time in the day is important in our busy life, therefore, I believe that everytime we look down for the time, we should be greeted with style. I have put together a list of Simplistic Time Classics that hit the spot!
I am starting this list with this simple gold-plated dial with a black leather strap watch by SEKONDA. A perfect every-day watch.

I find that this cool timepiece makes for a great participant in stacking pretty braclets to make a fun armparty. See how it can be styled with GemStück's own:

Don't Get It Twisted...Wire Jewellery
Hi guys! I hope you are all well and have recovered from all the recent celebrations and festivities.
I am here with my second blog post, and no it is not about +DBanjVEVO
(who I could listen to anytime/everytime), but rather it is about my new found love for wire jewellery.
In the last few weeks I have been twisting, tweaking and winding wires to make a different style of jewellery - I have really enjoyed experimenting and branching out into this side of jewellery making. This technique, together with a simple idea, gives rise to stunning pieces of jewellery that you want to wear!

Flumsy presents...GemStück
Hi guys and welcome! It's been a long time coming... I have been meaning to
start this a while a go but was not entirely sure how to go about it. A few
YouTube videos and talks with Family and Friends later, I am finally making my
first post.
This blog is about the little jewelry pieces and other DIY
projects that inspire me and my own creations. I love playing with
different colours, wires and beads, and it is always great to make something pretty
that brings a smile to peoples faces. I am an amateur in jewelry
making and want to share the new things I am learning and trying
out with you guys.
Over the last few years, I have come to appreciate Ankara and
Kente prints (traditional African fabrics) even more and really enjoy including
these in my projects. I look forward to new ideas that will expand my projects - please join me on my journey!
See you soon.
Flumsy x
P.S.: This is a lil' bracelet I made for a colleague when
she was leaving - I hope you like it! :)
