GemStück's first Showcase
As some of you might already know, I had the privilege of presenting my work to an audience last weekend. I am really grateful for this experience, because it took me out of one comfort zone right into another - I enjoyed talking jewellery! A Big Thank You to all my friends who come out of their way and supported me on the day - you are the best xx

Simplistic Time Classics
The first thing we learn in school after the alphabeth and some basic maths is to read time. Knowing what-O'clock it is at any given time in the day is important in our busy life, therefore, I believe that everytime we look down for the time, we should be greeted with style. I have put together a list of Simplistic Time Classics that hit the spot!
I am starting this list with this simple gold-plated dial with a black leather strap watch by SEKONDA. A perfect every-day watch.

I find that this cool timepiece makes for a great participant in stacking pretty braclets to make a fun armparty. See how it can be styled with GemStück's own:

I think you should get married... x
Hello hello my fellow Jewellery lovers!
Happy Monday to you all and I wish you all a fresh start into the week :)
As Spring has sprung and we are heading to a very promising summer, love is most definitely in the air! So many beautiful weddings have taken place already this year and many more are to come, not to talk of the more frequently occurrings of PDAs everywhere and ANYWHERE. I love talking about weddings (I mean forever asking my friends to get married), because, I am sure you agree, I associate those days with joy, happiness and laughter. The next logical thing to do was to start a new board on Pintarest: Nigerian Beauts. It is full of happy brides and gorgeously dressed wedding guests, and their inspirational jewellery.

Balinese. Free your mind. Create.
Hi guys, I hope you were all out enjoying the sun this afternoon! She is back, and she is bringing Spring with her, and more importantly she is bringing back beautiful fashion and colours to the streets.
Today's post is inspired both by my recent trip to South-East Asia, Bali in this case, which was my last stop, and the awaiting of the next season. Bali is an amazing place to be to free your mind and to work on your creativity - sitting on Kuta beach or letting the waves move you with the ocean or watching traditional Balinese plays or travelling around Bali to visit beautiful temples and waterfalls - all these wonderful experiences certainly got me all fired up and wanting to express these in my jewellery work.

Corals
Hi guys!
When I started writing this, I was on a bus in Da Lat, Vietnam, and I thought that there was no better place than here to write about colourful and traditional jewellery. The Vietnamese streets, fabrics and culture are full of colourful traditions, and it has certainly inspired me to write about my own culture.
Similarly in Nigeria, our culture oozes beauty and extravagance, especially during occasions like weddings. Here the guests and bride & groom wear beautiful, decorative and traditional fabrics, which have been planned many months in advance.
But of course, if you have your best shoes and clothes on, you want to complete the look with equally as gorgeous jewellery. These are made of beads of all colours, shapes and sizes, which complement the traditional fabrics very well - from coral beads to stunning fasceted beads!
